As I watch
As I peer
As I long
wait in tear

When I smile
When I cry
When I fold my hands
And die

I wait
I hope
I long
And choke

Sitting
Thinking
Writing
Linking

Hoping
Waiting
Longing
Hating

While I wish
While I die
While I kiss
And say goodbye
