Hallucinations

Do you ever wish,
On the mightiest stars in the sky.
That your dream hero
Will come and take you away

Away from the pain; and suffering
That you go through everyday.

Tears consistently falling,
Falling from your eyes.
And thoughts jumbled and running
In and out of your mind.

What has happened to you?
That has condemned you to this pain?

Happiness is a hallucination
In the minds of foolish things.
So the pain and suffering that you feel
Is the natural and normal way,
In this world today.
