Kiss Goodbye

Your lips lightly press against mine.
As you kiss me goodbye.
Thoughts running through my mind.
Memories, stories we told, break my heart in two.
It crushes me how we cant be together.
I miss you, i need you.
Now all i do at night is cry.
I've been in love before, but i never knew how much it could hurt, or how hard i could cry.
Untill that last kiss goodbye.
Your lips gently fade away.
You say "Im sorry" and turn and walk away.
And im left standing there alone, in tears, and with a broken heart.
