The Circus

by adaylate   Jul 8, 2006

Crack the whip, make them jump,
And hold them back with a chair,
Look at them with their sad eyes,
Just sitting there.

Dreaming of their long lost home,
Where they ran wild and free,
Now that it's all gone,
It's only bars they see.

While their families laugh and play,
In the wild where they belong,
These captives are here to stay,
with so much more to long.
