He of the Unknown - Part 1

by Karly   Jul 9, 2006

Your lips flat as glass
The oddest features I've ever seen
I open my eyes to only find
You're just a computer screen

It's not the monitor I'm in love with
No, you've got it all wrong
It's the person I choose to talk to on it
And we've really gotten along

He makes me smile
Even laugh harder than ever before
He has been put close to my heart
Someone who I adore

He happened to be on year older
Not that I really care
It mattered that he made me feel beautiful
With his certain kind of flair

I know it's stupid to be in love
With someone I've never actually met
Even my friends try to talk it through
As they see him as a threat

I swear to god he's not
I'm not just being stubborn
One day I'm going to find him
And I promise to return.

***Just for the record, I'm not having an online relationship with anyone. Thanks.
