Nothing is forever

by Lee   Feb 27, 2004

I was always told that nothing is forever,
The sun will stop shining one day,
and the moon will lose its glow.
The grass will no longer be green,
The skies no longer blue,
And the wind will no longer blow.

My love was lost in a mirage of chaos,
It took away my spirit and soul,
And left me here to stay.
Nothing is forever, obviously,
My heart was torn apart,
And the love I had drifted away.

The angel that was by my side,
Left me in the dark,
To think about what I have done.
I messed up a perfect love,
Causing grieve and pain,
And now I sit alone staring at the sun.

Nothing is forever,
Believe me when I say,
Cherish the one you have,
Cause they might not be there the following day.
