Eternity

by Lenny   Jul 9, 2006

Slipping into eternity,
An ecstasy of tumbles,
Forever descending,
Tripping, scrambling,
A journey of two immortals,
Hand in hand,
Down the path to insanity,
Walking in a trance,
Induced by fatigue,
Lost in thought,
No sense of direction,
Wandering the realms of sanity,
Testing its limits,
Discovering its borders,
Imaginations lost,
Consenting,
Decisions ignored,
Sense, the age old burden,
Left as they pass through
Mentality no longer an issue,
They soar the heights of nonentity,
Thoughts nonexistent,
Live in each others empty heads,
Wet clothes and tent pegs,
In their dark and lonely place,
Each other all they have,
They cling and hold,
Love in its rawest form,
Absence of rules,
Entirely alone,
A peace of mind,
Like no other,
So sacred, and guarded,
Never experienced by the living,
Nor the sane,
Death of mind,
For ultimate passion,
The sacrifice they gave,
With their vows and blood bond,
Lives so twisted,
Jagged fates,
Tied by hearts,
They intertwine,
Live as one through the other,
In their sanctuary of insanity,
Their secret place,
Eternity. . .
