The Freedom Of The Rambling Rose

by RainbowSlider   Jul 9, 2006

In a rose stands a beautiful trellis.
In a trellis winds a beautiful rose.
Neither trellis or rose is jealous.
Both are made beautiful by the rose.
On a deserted fence a vine wanders.
It is free and as pretty as the rose.
But does it have petals we wonder?
Is it just an unwanted flower or not?
If no one touches it; Is it still pretty?
Is a flower more beautiful in a pot?
Are rose petals really confetti?
Sometimes a rose thorns the toucher.
Sometimes a rose rebels the trellis.
Sometimes a rose bites a clutcher.
Sometimes a rose can get jealous.
Sometimes a rose likes to ramble.
Sometimes a rose likes to be free.
Sometimes a rose is a bramble.
Sometimes a rose has dignity.

Not one of your best. I think that there are not a big enough varety of the words you use. Maybe it's on purpose and perhaps it's not...
But I enjoyd your use of the rose. 3/5
