So dark

I'm looking at you waiting to embark.
I wish i seen it like a birthmark.
We're just sitting there like a landmark.
Shut in and it's so dark.
Never love rich boys, to uptight.
I've seen the glow from eyesight.
I'n the dark it showed like a night-light.
It's just too dark.
We didn't see our spark.
Missed our chance in the dark.
