I wish You were Here.

by Quinn Specht   Jul 10, 2006

In so many ways,
the tears in your eyes
seem so simple.
Your body like an angelic
statue.
Eyes like granite,
and hands like ice.
I love you the
three words in a
tragedy.
My words like fallen
paper,
burnt with time.
Words like cement,
being washed away in the tide.
I wish You were here.
To see my smile, and love.
