Sarcasm

A witty mind deploys sarcasm;

To veil and dress the
bare bones of a verbal attack;

It buffers crude aggressiveness with diplomacy;

But is devised to confront the mind of the recipient indirectly

And in a more gentle manner;

It is the the venom of the poisonous tongue;

A knife, sheeted with velvet, hidden and yet hurting;

Masters of sarcasm channels intelligence through the word of mouth;

Where so much is said with so few words;

It is always an insult against the character of the recipient launched with verbal sleekness;

Sarcasm is devised to haunt the mind of the recipient;

We hear the real message in between the diplomatic words;

It may be used warn, taunt or even instigate ...

An age old art, the weaponry of a witty mind...
