You Make Me Sick

You said it was over
you said that it\'s done,
but now that you\'ve said it
the games just begun.
you played by the rules
but now it dosen\'t seem fair,
cause you called it all off
and it\'s even harder to bare.
it started off fine
and we were both winning,
but now it\'s too hard
and no one is grinning.
the hard times have now
been pushed aside,
and when i put it together
you\'re the one who lied.
you lied about how you
felt towards me,
and by the look of things
you\'re filled with glee.
i didn\'t understand
but now i see why,
all you wanted was
to see me cry.
but i\'m stronger than the
person i use to be,
and i realized that
you weren\'t meant for me.
you made me see
who you really were,
you didn\'t love me
so why\'d i even bother.
i didn\'t think it would
end up this way,
but for the past 3 days
it\'s hard to say.
i didn\'t want this to happen
but now that it has,
i can only look forward
and not at the past.
