Wasted Mistake

Today I come to you from the room,
I feel nice and empty inside.
Burn another camel and try not to cry.
After all the fun and games are gone,
And you have time to think to yourself,
Shuffle around the room through your own filth.

To see it all now like directing this movie.
It's hard to swallow or even breathe.
Peel back and reveal whats underneath.
After hanging up the phone and your voice is gone,
I swallow that lump and blankly stare,
Why didn't I show you my love and care.

It was all just one big lesson,
I should have paid attention,
Without learning from this session,
My heartache, is from a wasted,
mistake.

I really dont know what this all means,
I've never had this feeling in me.
You don't have to listen though of you plenty.
After all this sets in and we're gone,
I'll swallow that lump and blankly stare,
Into that allusion and you're still not there.

So I come to you from this room,
Dare not say what it holds inside.
We burn another candle when somebody dies.
I realize that maybe we're gone,
But always remember me there with no fear,
Always there for you and to catch your tears.
