RAZOR

by kim   Jul 10, 2006

She holds the razor,
pressed firmly to her skin-

The thought of all that was said,
it hurts- it hurts so bad,
your words are like piercing needles in my heart,
your voice is like nails scratching the black-board.

Where'd all your love go?
how can you speak to me like this?
she looks to the floor,
there no clear solution-
please forgive,
for i know I'm bout to hurt you,
but i don't wanna hurt no more-

She glides the razor down her arm,
over,
and over,
and over again-
her skin spreads apart,
the pain becoming so numb,
the highest of all highs,
the blood is running- running down her arm,
off her finger-tips,
and into a puddle on the ground.

Shes fine now- no more pain,
shes grown cold and very numb,
your words they cant hurt me right now,
your voice it's-it's very silent now........
