To Fast

by LaurenLiz   Jul 11, 2006

I'm standing in the school
Same way it is everyday
Standing and talking with you
In between class
One of the times it not the same

As we're standing there
A loud noise is heard
An alarm sounds
Everything happening fast
We run for a class room
On the way there
I turn around
A man in a black mask
Standing there with something in his hand
The loud noise again
Not sure what's going on
Things are turning blurry
I fall to the floor
I see people running
And the masked man is gone
I see your turn back for me
The alarm stops
You sit holding my hand
As I hear sirens around
People pick me up
And you stay with me
Telling me to hold on

Barely being able to see
But now in a hospital bed
Losing too much blood
I don't understand
Everything happened so fast

I look around to see you
Crying but still not
Letting go of my hand
Then a straight ringing sound
Quickly thoughts go through my head
I'm not ready to leave
Where is the masked man now?
How or why did this happen?
I turn around one last time
To see your sobbing face
I try to put a smile on for you
As a tear also falls on down my face

Anything can happen I think
And there's no second chance for me
As my vision goes black
And I can no longer feel anything...anymore...at all
