Second Fall

"Each day I get stronger, But each day it gets harder"

The thoughts she thinks to herself and pure a true,
The words she speaks are lies and deception,
Relapse after relapse,
Her emotional status falls,
Regresses past sane,
Falling back into insanity

She was able to see into her mind for a short while,
See where she went wrong,
See how she wasn't shameful,
Now she is back inside,
Her mind talking to her is tongues again,
She can't separate reality from nightmares,
Everything is falling so disastrously into place

Wanting reality to stop,
Give her a moment to catch her breath,
Everything is all too familiar,
She has seen these shades of darkness before,
Her negative mind taking steps into the shadows,
After coming so far into the light,
So slowing achieving a smile,
She so quickly fell back into pain

No warning,
No pain in sight,
She died inside again,
She can't get the thoughts out of her head,
The same thoughts she had last time,
Things are trapping her in fast forward,
She is taking...
