GROW

by meryl   Jul 11, 2006

Alone she sits in the window
contemplating times past by
each time her hearts bin broken
each single tear she's cried
although she's grown
she still feels like a child deep down inside

looking for a path though the darkness that she See's
waiting for that light
that outreached hand
the fresh summers breeze

to god she prays
take my demons
my scars away
let me love and be loved
each and everyday

a beautiful soul so pure and true
why such cruelty brought to you
an unkind hand you have bin dealt
the pain inside you have felt

she takes a step back from the window and See's
the trees rustling in the cool summers breeze
a smile appearers on her face
angelic
true beauty
true grace
