Thank Him

So everybody has that one person who's always there for them
a person you can talk to, a person who will always listen
somebody who gives you advice on your situation
somebody to thank for calming you down, making you happy
for making you realize whats really going on in life
that person for me isn't a friend
that person is the man up stairs, in other words, GOD
hes always there for me and will be till the end
hes there for everybody just some people don't see it
hes the reason we are able to live, to have friends, to do what we do
with him everything is possible, just sit and pray and it comes true
things don't happen right away, just like everything else, it takes time
but when your prayers come to reality, you have to thank him
at the end of a bad day, your friends might be there but him
he never leaves you, yeah in life things happen but we all know
things happen for a reason, reasons that cant be explained
its just how life is, we cant do anything about it but except it
we cant keep our head down and complain

and its true, everyday theres plenty of people who say they don't belong
but they do, they are just blinded from the hate and negative stuff people say
many people wont know what to do but they can ask God for help
hes always there, even if your not a believer, hes always there
so when you wake up, thank him
Thank Him for letting you live, Thank Him for giving you a chance to breathe
a chance to live a good life
because hes always there, even when all of our friends leave
