Trying to forget you

I try so hard to forget about you
because your not worth it,
you've never been true.

But then you look me straight in the eye,
and tell me you were dumb to say goodbye.

You say you still love me and always will.
Theres a hole in your heart only I can fill.

I try not to listen because I already know,
even though you hurt me I couldnt never say no.

We've done this before and we'll do it again,
Over and over it's never the end.

If I didn't know you as well as I do,
I might not have known that you were with her too.

If you actually cared we could have made it work but you didn't so I end up hurt.

You only kept me until you found someone new. Little did you know that I knew her too.
