JUST FRIENDS

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I am thinking of you.

I am thinking of the past
How it want by so fast
wish I could of made our love last.

I see your face in my dreams
Sometimes I wake up and scream
can you remember how much my love means.

As I lay in bed and think of you at night
can you remember the night I held you tight
can you remember how you felt so loved that night.

I loved you in the beginning
I will love you in the end
I will love you even if we have to be just friends.

    keep up the awesome work.
    the way the poem started out was sweet and innocent, leading you in to read the rest--which hits you over the head with a hammer of emotion.
