Silent tear

As the blood leaves my vein,
so does the heart and soul leave my body
theres nothing left to gain
when every drop of life is gone
and there rests no pain
as my life flashes before my eyes
i begin my walk down memory lane
i see all the things i lived through
and its really hard to explain
what has happened these last few years

to see where Ive gotten
to see what Ive done
i really have forgotten
what a terrible person Ive become
to see my soul become so rotten
right down to the very core

now i wonder what drove me here
to do such a thing
the end seems much too near
I'm lying here dying
my fate, all to clear
then i think back
back to that year
back to that moment
i only wish you could hear
my one last
silent tear
