The sea dreamer

I must go down to the sea again
to the lonely sea and sky
and for the sun to set a perfect view
oh my dreams just pass me by.
As the wind hums and the sea crashes,
the white sail is shaking
and the Grey mist in the air
slowly starts breaking.

I must go down to the sea again
to honor such a glorious place
where the air is so fresh,
a place you feel so safe
i lose myself at sea
by the singing and the dreaming,
a quiet sleep and a pleasant dream
oh i wont be leaving.

I must go down to the sea again
the call of the sky tempts me tonight
sun shinning on the surface tide
it calls me mainly at midnight.
And all i ask for is a merry feeling
of laughter and enjoyment
and mellow songs and sweet dreams
in my heart a sense of fulfillment.
