Rainbow Coloured Emotions

by Tammie   Jul 12, 2006

A rainbow of colour
Painted on the page
Stroked with sadness
And splattered with rage

All of the colour
Expresses how she feels
Plain black and white
Just wouldn't be real

A thousand words
A picture can say
Colour is a perfect example
Of words in another way

Green represents envy
Blue for all her tears
Orange for her loneliness
Yellow for her fears

Red is for the anger
Purple for the pain
Black for the hollow heart
All this she suffers again

So she paints this picture
With the colours of the rainbow
To express how she feels
With a thousand words or so
