Why did no one notice
why could no one see
the tears on her face
that look in her eyes?

they claimed to be friends
but alone she sat
at school and at home
crying to be loved

now shes gone
she walked out on life
on all the pretenders
out on all the lies

putting the blade to her skin
she let out her last scream
slipping from the world
she had a smile on her face
