Rubber

by Iola   Jul 12, 2006

I wish I had a rubber,
Like the one I used in school.
To wipe away what I've discovered,
Erase parts of my life that's cruel.

I wish I could start over.
My choices would certainly change.
Then I wouldn't be riding a roller-coaster.
Isn't the way life works strange?

Bless me with a rubber!
The one that wipes out ink.
Second chances exist for others,
I'll rewrite my future in a blink.

Give me the chance O Lord,
To edit critical moments throughout my days.
Because when I evaluate my storyboard,
There is a few choices I want to erase..
