If Tomorrow Comes

by youth anthology   Jul 12, 2006

If tomorrow comes,
Our situation will change;
We will have a new lease
Of bearable existence.

Unless tomorrow comes
We will remain poor,
Sorrowing the day long,
Unable to smile deep.

Although tomorrow comes
We still are nor at rest;
What if it comes
Without the needed help?

Should tomorrow come
We may still be poor;
We remember that today
Was yesterday's tomorrow.
