That'll be the Day

by Wasted Fake Smiles   Jul 13, 2006

Yeah i wrote multiple poems while in Oklahome just driving around.

You say you're a bad boyfriend,
But we could be friends until the end.
You told me I was great,
But you don't want to date.

I know what you say is all just a lie,
I now know, how you truly feel inside.
Is it because I'm kind of fat?
Or because I always talk to my cat?

Am I too loud? Too different from you?
We're actually alike, but you don't like me too.
I get the hint! I get it, okay?
I know to me you'll never say,

You love me, you want me, you need me...
We'll see how you are when you see-
How similar we are. And when I get thin,
Maybe a romance will finally begin.

We'll see won't we? When it's August 26,
When I lose 20 lbs, and I lick my lips.
In my camouflage bikini, your jaw will drop!
With my hair black, instead of my reddish mop.

Can't wait until then, it'll amuse me so much,
When you come up to me with your gentle touch.
Saying how wrong you were, and how sorry you are..

...Yeah, that'll be the day, I can hardly wait!
