Doubting My Love For You

by Kayla Ellis   Jul 13, 2006

I remember that one rainy day when i found it hard to turn around and say "I Love You."
At that point, it dawned on me,
Our relationship was ending,
and it needed major mending.
The love we had for each other was fading.

Love turned into hate,
In my head, I was debating as i stared into your eyes.
I then realized you were disguised.
This wasn't exactly a great surprise.
I knew it, you were faking.

There was bad decision making.
Then you said to me,
"Loosing you is not a risk I'll be taking."
By then, I was shaking.
You leaned in to kiss me and I pulled away.
I then said,
"No baby, not today. Or for you any other day. Because I refuse to be fooled by you."
