Dead Like Me

by ...Vince...   Jul 13, 2006

I see your bloody stained face,
The staring eyes,
The unheard cries,
Of life there is no more trace.

No matter how hard I try,
I can't hold it back so I cry,
The tears wash my stained clothes,
They drain all of those,
thoughts I had before,
The ones I can't ignore,

Washing off your bloody hair,
I realize it is everywhere,
I'm drowning in what was you,
Before this happened,
I still can't believe it's true,

You lie on the floor,
Yet you are all over me,
You are so blind, like me,
You are so silent, like me,
You are so dead,
Like me.
