True Friendship Within

by Sami   Jul 13, 2006

There's a time of sorrow,
A time of joy.
Someday, to God we'll follow,
And leave our Toy.
There will be times we'll leave, friend.
Promise me, you'll never try our friendship to end.

As we grow up, we know someday we need to say, "Good Bye!"
And in very few times we'll say, "Hi!",
If ever our friendship will never die.
May God be our Strength,
No matter how far is our length.
May He also be our Stronghold,
Our friendship will never be sold.

Friend, I am yours and you are mine,
We'll never replace each other for a dime.
We've known from the start as friends.
It's not true that we're not
For we've helped each other untie the knot.

We were committed through God as friends
Even that we have our different ends.
Promise me, you'll never forget.
Leaving you to forget is not our bet.

We leave to find our place in God.
We'll leave so we can turn the knob:
The door to continuing our friendship
And cherish and never forget.

I hope that it's clear to you that we all must leave
And wish that you'll believe:
Believe that we'll all succeed.

"Please don't forget our friendship."
Friend, this will be my last plead.
Now it's time, I have to board the ship.

Believe that we'll not end.
Goodbye, friend.
And always remember:
"LEAVING FRIENDS IS NEVER A TREND."
