Darkness is everywhere,
But the moonlight is always there.
Why do children be afraid of it,
Though everybody's going to eat some meat?
By daytime, children like to play out,
But when it's nighttime, children don't want to stay out.
Darkness gives us the creeps,
But somehow everybody likes to sleep.
Darkness will always be at our sight,
It gives us a nice and restful night.
Grown ups think darkness is everyone's friend,
But children ponder that the world has come to an end.
Darkness is on its way to end the day.
Grown ups love to sleep because of their tiring day.
And when children are on their beds,
And because of their sleepyheads,
They will actually forget their fright,
And will really love to say, "Good Night!"
