Wanting For a Friend

by Sami   Jul 13, 2006

What do you call the one who hates? An enemy.
Now, how about the one who loves? A friend.
A friend who cherishes won't end.

Whenever I am sad, there's always a friend to me.
But not one of them can fill my needs,
So who can my friend be?
I always imagined a friend that would last,
Or maybe buy a friendly bass.

I always wish and pray for a friend
And never a fiend.
You asked me what a friend I will be?
If I ask that same question, what will it be for me?

I see someone sad and lonely,
I'll come for her and be like Dory.
Encouraging is my number one in list
And never make a fist.
Supporting is my second priority
And never a minority.
Praying is still my best tool
Not to make myself a fool.
And last but never the least,
Loving with all my heart to cherish our friendship,
And never become as beasts
And end in different ships.

Someday if I wish for a friend,
I'll make out of myself first,
And will never blow and burst
The friendship that we have will never end.

And that is what I want for a friend.
