Best Friends

We once were best friends
but now we are not

we lost our beautiful friendship
over some guy i don't even know

we watched the graduation rehearsal
and together we cried

saying one day
"that will be us"

we will walk down that same road
*together as always*
but a truck hit us
before we even got half way there

it hit us so hard
we were knocked apart

you were on one side
i was on the other

we thought we would be best friends
for the rest of our lives

but that is along time
to be wrong

i have told you once
i will tell you again
we once were best friends
and now its the end.....

...and its all because
that big white truck
*full of lies*
just had to come down our road

we could have moved
it didn't have to hit us

but we didn't we just stood there

we could still be best friends
if only you will let us

i still feel the same about you
the fight will only make us stronger
if we stop it right now
but if we let that truck keep going
we will only get weaker

why did i do this
i cried the whole time

maybe its because
you were my best friend
and i know now
this is the end.....
