Salvation

by Jasmyn   Jul 14, 2006

You're falling
and no one catches you
tumbling down
because of the things you cant undo
growing ever distant
pain and regret growing inside
tired of facing the world
you curl up and hide
blocking out the good things
focusing on the bad
this world was never black and white
but you ignored the plaid
you know you should be stronger
know you can have this beat
but instead of taking the wheel
you lay in the backseat
letting life slip through your fingers
you dont even try
you'd rather turn your back on all your problems
close your eyes and will yourself to die
But it all catches up to you
eats you up inside
until you can no longer take it
and theres no place safe to hide
so you either end your life
or stand up and fight
fighting for your dreams
and all thats wrong to make it right
you cant do anything if you sit and wait
salvation will just pass through
no one else can stop your demons
no one at all, but you
