Exposed child

I look at this baby
and feel bad for whats to come
all the evil in the world
her exposed to it more than some
another child
that wont remember being young
another case of nerves
that will be high strung
another f u c ked up person in the family
that will have demons on her own
that will be surrounded by love
and still feel all alone.
her name is something she wont feel
serenity is chosen purely on appeal
I ache to tell her
life is no piece of pie
and if she ever decides to give it up
to give it one more try
surely God will grant this child
the ability to live
though so many things will go wrong
please, let her life be positive.
