Friendship

by Bethan   Jul 14, 2006

My life brims with hope as i walk this road,
friends i meet on the path enhance the day.
twists and turns, alone we'd stumble and fall,
but the love that surrounds, makes work child's play.

without those i love, my way would be bare.
and to be loved back is the treasure i hold,
the journey i'm making along, the soil i tread,
is lit with joy; companionship, friends of old.

how can i communicate my eternal thanks,
to all of those people who make my world bright,
conveying the absolute happiness they bring,
my friends, partners in crime, soothing in the night.

all of you out there, please know that it is you i adore.
without you i'd not have light, just darkness i knew before.
