Second chance

by ♥*~»cutieladybug«~*♥   Jul 14, 2006

I don't know if I should forgive you
It's been a while since you've said hi
Giving you a second chance
would be reliving one big lie
Telling you of my love for you
Is the hardest thing to do
So instead I'll hurt and cry inside
and pretend it isn't true

When 6 months passed without a word
I died a little more each day
Hoping that you were missing me
Or thinking of me that day
I longed to hear your voice
Your whispers in my ear
But when i stopped to listen
I only heard my falling tears

Now you've returned to me
And things are just the same
should I just forgive you
or replay loves sweet game
To many memories worth losing
And unexpressed anger stored inside
I just hate the way you come and go
Knowing I'll always be by your side
