True Love

by Elizabeth   Jul 14, 2006

A lovers kiss is sweetly given
As your arms enfold me in your embrace.
A gentle caress is softly felt
As I gaze into an unforgettable face.
I hear your heart gently beating
As I rest my head on your chest
and breathe in your scent.
The gentle strum of the violin fades.
The room is deserted.
And it is just us.
You and I.
Dancing to the silent rhythm.
Our hands are entwined as one.
An unexplainable.
Unbreakable.
Unbelievable bond
Is held between us.
I lift my head and look at you.
You lower your head and look at me.
A delicate smile is given.
Tremors of excitement
Race their way up my back.
No words can possibly explain
The feelings that I hold inside.
So serene, and yet
So chaotic.
It is magical
It is real
It is love.
Yes...love.
Young love
Sweet love
True love.
