Like Jell-O in my arms

by myshiningstar14   Jul 15, 2006

Need to see your face,
be in a better place.
We'll be apart for a
while, still for you I'd
go a thousand miles.

My emotions drip down
my heart, painting the
cracks for all I lack,
baby I just need you
back.

You've slowly become like
jell-o in my arms. You've
become an unforgettable
memory, an unmatchable
love, and an undefinable
voice.

Like the silence in the
night, like me without
you, my soul grows faint
and my I find myself in
the shadow of a world
I never wanted to know.

I held you, held a
moment I never wanted
to let go. We laid under
the stars, and kissed;
oh how I miss you. Than
like a thief in the night,
you went out of sight.

My hands once full, now
covered in nothing but
you and everything you've
left me with. Till we meet
again, you've escaped my
grasp, and as the tears
form behind these eyes,
you've become like jell-o
in my arms.

I will be strong,
I will hang on.
I will be strong,
all night long.

I will hold on,
oh baby keep
singing that
song.
