World of a Teen

by SarahSYP   Jul 16, 2006

Standing alone,
In the darkness.
Trying to find myself out.
Striving to get to the light.

Farther and farther
I stand from the light,
Figuring when I'll be in sight.
In sight of the world,
IN sight of myself.
I just want to be seen,
In a world of a teen.

It's dark, cold.
No one to guide me,
No one to be seen.
Still standing alone,
In a world of a teen.

Bumping here and there,
Shoves every so often.
Mean, cold faces.
Glaring back at me.
In a world of a teen.

I hope you don't let that voting bother you! because i feel this poem deserves a better rating, but you can't believe the voting system on this site anymore. any how i liked the poem it really does show the worlds view through a teen sometimes.
