Wasting My Time

I try to tell you
Try to get you to understand
But I'm wasting my time
You don't listen
Don't even seem to care
You don't want to hear it
But I know you need to
I'm wasting my time
Competing with other's lies
And accomplishing nothing
Convincing no one
You don't understand
What I am trying to say
It is important
That you comprehend
What it is that I'm thinking
I'm wasting my time
Trying to become what you want
What you need
It doesn't matter what I do, think, or say
You don't care how I feel
And that is what I am trying to tell you
But you won't listen
I am sick of attempting to please you
I'm done wasting my time
