More Than Words

Do you mean what you say?
You tell me you love me everyday,
But do you really mean it in that way?

I may not always say it back,
But it dosen`t mean that I don`t love you,
It is that I feel I can`t,

When I don't say I love you I may be lying,
Its only because I`m afraid to love you,
And I don`t want you to be the first guy to hear me crying,

Knowing how you`ve done s in the past,
Makes me wonder if I`m going to be treated like that,
All I can do is pray every night back to back,

If a guy hurts me I usually get mad,
But if you hurt me I don`t know what I would do,
I would be mad,bu I would be sad too,

So I continue to pray,
Which is every day,
That you don't do me like you did some of the s in the 7th grade,

I`m hoping that there will be a happy end,
But I guess I`ll just have to wait,
And find out whether we`ll be together or just be friends
