Why can' t
they see
that what they
want me to be

flows so
easily
from the tip of
my pencil, lightly

pressing on this paper
but, moreso, on my heart.
Whoever "me" is
had better start

implementing herself
and doing instead of saying.
Yet everything is so much easier
when you see it in my writing.
