I'm Back

I close my eyes
and see a face
only this time..
it's you instead

I can feel it again
the world full of pain
I thought i'd left it behind
But I'm the one to be blamed

I gave it another chance
"Love" is what they call it
But this time I'm falling harder
In the dark never ending pit

I'm back where I belong,
without love or hope
I can't help but wonder
Is this really home?

    You did a good job on this but it was very rocky at times. It wasn't a very smoothed out poem. Like everything rhymed except for the first thing:

    I close my eyes
    and see a face
    only this time..
    it's you instead

    But it is a good poem. Keep it up.
