Smile once again

by brkendown   Jul 17, 2006

She smiles sweetly
to hide her fear
to hide the pain
that is always so damn near
her stomach aches
from being sad
she wants to stop
feeling so damn bad
she wishes the world
where a happier place
that way she could put
a real smile on her face
will no one notice
the pain thats inside
can no one see
how much she has cried
wanting to feel free
wanting to be happy
tired of pretending
there is no more misery
what will it take for people to know
that the smile she shows
is actually fake?
she hsa the whole world fooled
thinking shes pleased
with how her lifes going
how can they be so naive
but someday soon
someone will see
and notice that there is nobright moon
to light up her misery
to fade away her pain
the make her really smile
once again.
