An Assasins Quest

by Welshy   Jul 17, 2006

I'm in a hole,
i await the target,
in this alley of shadows,
planning how i will strike.
I'm a lone soul,
from the Shades argot,
my blade begins to glow,
from hilt to spike.

I scope about,
and i see him coming,
walking into this darkness,
a merchant of souls.
A man so stout,
my adrenaline starts pumping,
if i want to progress,
i must take his soul.

A quest i must complete,
if i want to succeed,
to obtain the title,
of assassin stealth rogue.
I hear his heartbeat,
i must make it bleed,
its imperative and vital,
its an assassins vogue.

I slip into the shadows,
conceal my body and blade,
invisible i must be,
no-one can know.
His eye must close,
his existence fade,
it would be my guarantee,
just 1 fatal blow.

I approach from behind,
wrap my arm around his neck,
my blade pierces his skin,
and straight into his heart.
His eyes go blind,
he slumps to the deck,
i let out a slight grin,
and now i must depart.
