Beauty of Winter

by Welshy   Jul 17, 2006

The snow,
soft, fluffy diamonds of the sky.
So very rarely seen,
gliding or floating by.
Seeds of beauty from the heavens,
the twinkle in an angels eye.
The freezing cold chills,
from the precious gems of ice,
all giving feelings and senses so divine,
on this ice cold-white winter time.
Bare trees standing and dominating the fields,
standing tall and proud coated with ice shields.
Everything so vibrantly white,
on this ice cold winters night.
But with all this beauty you shine much brighter,
walking across the blankets of snow,
every step getting lighter and lighter,
your footprints barely show.
For every step you seem to rise,
and the quicker i run to you,
but you seem to rise up to the skies,
and farther out to the view.
Your the one person i adore,
and seems that i cant attain,
i love you always and for evermore,
and always bear this pain.
