Nightmare

Every night,
I fear to sleep,
For if I do,
I might weep,

I try and try,
But soon enough,
I close my eyes,
And fall asleep,

I start to dream,
It's nice and sweet,
I see u there on the street,

We smile and wave,
I blow a kiss,
U catch it and say,
I'm coming your way,

I have nearly reached you,
It seems like fingertips away,
I can nearly touch you,
Just a few steps to go,

I see a flash,
I glance behind you,
It turns to dark,
Flash again,

I scream and say,
Move out of the way,
U turn and stare,
I run away.

U try to run,
But trip and fall,
I turn to help,
But there is no time at all,

And their u go in the air,
U land and freeze,
I stand and I stare,
Blood every were,

I wake in tears,
I feel my fears,
It's all just a blur,
But I now it will reoccur,

Every night,
Every dream,
It will reoccur,
To my dreadful nightmare
