How do I read this?

by The Lion   Jul 18, 2006

Its not your words its the voice,
Its not your voice its the word,
I never know which, or what they mean,

How do I read this?

Each word you use, I pick apart,
Like its some magic key to your heart,
I hate to think, it tears me apart,

How do I read this?

Your on the other side of my fingers,
I can feel but i can't touch,
like some cheap sweet wrapper,
but I want the real sweet inside.

Are you wearing a blanket from me
or a blanket with me?
A plain word might spark or smother
that newly lit match.
it can only burn for so long,
it sets a fire raging and destroys thoughts of much else,
or it diminishes and fades out, Goodbye.

Each word you use, I pick apart,
Like its some magic key to your heart.

Tell me, How do you read this?
