Where'd you go?

You told me that you would always be there to catch me when i fall.
But what if one day you are not there to catch me?
Will you come and rescue me?
Or will you leave me hanging by a strand of my own pain and misery.
You taught me to fly and you taught me to fall.
You taught me to climb and to never look down.
But when you're no longer with me I sometimes forget these things.
And now as i fall I wonder what my life would be like without you.
But suddenly my thoughts become reality and I'm left here without you.
Why'd you have to go?
